Let’s look at important things here –
Moon - Moon represents Mind, Emotions, Mother, Local Government, Peace of Mind, Home Environment, Water, Milk etc.
Chitra - Chitra is nakshatra of creativity, works related with pictures or images, real estate and relationship conflicts etc. For more information on Chitra Nakshatra, please read this - https://www.astrosaxena.com/citnaksh.
Virgo - As Chitra is a part of Virgo, Virgo sign and its representations also become important. Virgo is the 6th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents almost all the things which are represented by the 6th house of horoscope like Debts, Diseases, Obstacles, Serving the under-privileged, Service Life, etc. Besides this, Virgo represents analytical or critical nature of people, being perfectionist and healing abilities. Virgo's basic representation is the lady coming in boat with wheat and herbs in her hands. So, Virgo is basically a sign of healing. Virgo consists of next set of 2 and half nakshatra. i.e. Uttara-Phalguni, Hasta and Chitra. Virgo's lord is Mercury.
Libra - As Chitra is also a part of Libra, Libra sign and its representations also become important. Libra is the 7th sign of Zodiac Belt, hence it represents the energy and things related with 7th house of horoscope, i.e. Market Place, Business, Partnerships, Relations etc. Libra is sign of Balance, i.e. striking the Balance between 2 parties/ideologies or even at personal level between our own dilemmas. It is sign of Peace and Diplomacy. And this is what we are seriously looking for after the conflicts and disagreements of Virgo, i.e. Peace to prevail. At personal level, Libra is seen as sign of Relationships. Libra is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatra named Chitra, Swati and Vishakha. Libra's lord is Venus only.
Mars - As Mars rules Chitra, Mars's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra.
Mercury - As Mercury rules Virgo, Mercury's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra/Virgo.
Venus - As Venus rules Libra, Venus position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra/Libra.
Houses Involved – Also, we can’t afford to forget the houses involved as a planet can be ruling different houses and sitting in different house for every person as per ascendant and planet’s position. To know overall affect, we have to consider the houses involved as those areas of life are being impacted.
Interpretation of Moon in Chitra Nakshatra – As Moon is Mind and Chitra is nakshatra of Creativity, it shows people who can be very creative. They can easily be seen as painters, graphic artistes or anyone who works with Picture (Chitra). It can even include an Astrologer, Architect or someone working with X-Ray machines. The creative side of Moon in Chitra is more closely seen in Libra portion of Chitra as it is ruled by Venus. Another serious side of Chitra is of relationship conflict due to mythological story of Sun, Sandhya and Vishwakarma. It shows someone's mind occupied by relationship conflicts or someone who helps others as counselor in such conflicts. They can be inclined towards real estate work. It can be a very analytical mind too, in Virgo portion of Chitra. It can also be considered as a very balanced mind because Chitra falls in middle of 27 nakshatras. Again, person can inherit all these traits from Mother as Moon also represents Mother.
Role of Mars – Mars placement is important to guide Moon in right direction, being Chitra's lord.
Role of Mercury - Likewise, Mercury placement is important to guide Moon in right direction, being Virgo's lord.
Role of Venus - Likewise, Venus placement is important to guide Moon in right direction, being Libra lord.
Other Factors – And of course, we need to consider conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the exact results of Moon in Chitra. So, we always need to take a holistic view of chart rather than just 1 planetary position.
Conclusion – So, this is how I see Moon in Chitra can work in a chart.
Hope this helps. Please post any comment or query you may have.
