There was a request to write about Kalpadruma Yoga. It is also called Parijata Yoga. Let’s understand it –
Name – As Parijata is one of the Trees and Kalpa means Imagination, Kalpadruma or Parijata Yoga in a chart is considered as one of the auspicious yoga which can fulfil all your imagination or dreams. It is like that Utopian place or Tree which can fulfil all your imaginative desires, We will discuss how good or bad it can be?
Formation of Yoga – Let’s understand how Kalpadruma Yoga can be formed?
So, take these planets in your chart –
The Planet that rules your Lagna Lord.
The planet that rules the ruler of your Lagna Lord in D-1 Chart.
The planet that rules the ruler of your Lagna Lord in D-9 Chart.
For example – I am Scorpio ascendant, so -
Lagna Lord – Mars.
The Planet that rules Lagna Lord – Mars is in Capricorn ruled by Saturn.
The planet that rules the ruler of Lagna Lord in D-1 Chart – Saturn is in Leo ruled by Sun.
The planet that rules the ruler of Lagna Lord in D-9 Chart – Saturn is in Virgo in D-9 chart ruled by Mercury.
So, the planets which can make this Kalpadruma Yoga for me are Mars, Saturn, Sun and Mercury.
Now, how this yoga will be formed?
If these 4 planets are in Kendra houses from Lagna or these 4 planets are in Trikon houses from Lagna or these 4 planets are in Exaltation Signs from Lagna in D-1 chart then this Kalpadruma Yoga is formed.
If this is also happening in D-9 chart along with D-1 chart then it is even more powerful.
This is when the most powerful Kalpadruma Yoga can be formed.
Now, there can be Kalpadruma Yoga with lesser intensity too, Like,
If these 4 planets are in Kendra houses from Moon or these 4 planets are in Trikon houses from Moon or these 4 planets are in Exaltation Signs from Moon in D-1/D-9 chart then this Kalpadruma Yoga is formed with lesser intensity.
Then if one of these 4 planets are in Kendra houses from Lagna/Moon or one of these 4 planets are in Trikon houses from Lagna/Moon or one of these 4 planets are in Exaltation Signs from Lagna/Moon in D-1/D-9 chart then this Kalpadruma Yoga is formed with lesser intensity.
Results – As discussed, it is considered as the yoga which can give grand success to the person and can fulfil all his dreams/desires and imagination. It is also considered as a yoga which can give better results in later life.
My opinion – Now, I feel that no yoga can give you any result unless you are putting efforts in the right field meant for you. Best of Yogas and best of Dashas will come and go from life and if you are not aligned with your righteous path in life then you will feel that you are not getting promised results and astrology doesn’t work. So, our 1st effort should be about getting into right path.
It is as simple as this that to drive conveniently and safely on road, you should be on correct side of road and you should not break the lane. If you are driving in wrong side of road then obviously you will face the danger of accident. It is not fault of road and other people on road but it is your fault. Just get on to the correct side of road for you and you will be fine.
So, this yoga or any other yoga can give you any good result only when you are following the right path meant for you and aligned with chart’s directions. At least get rid of this thinking that only because of this yoga or that yoga in chart, you will be having your desires and dreams met without putting any efforts. This never happens in world. Nothing ever happened in this Universe without actions.
Dreams – Then let’s say for a second we accept that there is some yoga in astrology which is fulfilling your dreams and desires just as you want it. Then do you think it is in your favor?
Are we even aware of our dreams and desires? Do we always dream and desire right things/people in life? We don’t and that’s why people say that “sometimes it is a matter of great stroke of luck when you don’t get what you desire”. Time and again, we have realized this thing in our life that our desires and dreams to get something/someone were crap ones.
So, we should hope for such a yoga only when we are perfectly aware and conscious of our dreams and desires else it can be counterproductive for us.
Let me finish with this small story narrated by Osho in one of his preaching –
There was a Man who was travelling from far places and got tired. He sat under a Tree to take rest. Man was unaware that this Tree was a wish-fulfilling divine tree.
As he was taking rest, he just had a thought that finally I got a place to rest but it is very hot still. I wish if there was cool breeze blowing.
As it was a wish-fulfilling divine tree, cool breeze started.
Man felt happy and thought that how nice it would be to have lunch in this pleasant environment?
Next moment, he saw all the delicious food and sweets in front of him.
He was so hungry that he didn’t think much and started eating food. After taking food, he thought that now I feel sleepy. Everything is fine here but if there was a bed to sleep then it would have been great.
Next moment, a bed appeared. Man was so tired and sleepy that he didn’t think much and went to sleep. When he got up after a couple of hours then he started thinking that how everything he wished for happened since he was sitting under this tree?
He just had a thought that what if Ghosts reside on this tree and they may kill me? Next moment, Ghosts appeared and killed the Man.
Lesson here is that we should desire for such Yogas and situations in life only when we are perfectly aware and conscious of our dreams and desires.
Till then, Let Thy Will Be Done.
Hope this helps. Thanks,
