There was a request to write about Dainya Parivartan Yoga. Let’s understand DPY as follows –
As we know that Vedic Astrology has lots of tools, techniques and tricks available which help us in prediction. There are many yogas where planets make some special combinations with each other which further impact results of those planets and houses ruled by those planets. Some important yogas for our purpose here are as follows –
Parivartan Yoga (https://www.astrosaxena.com/PYI) – This occurs when lords of any two houses are sitting in each others’ signs. For example – For a Scorpio ascendant chart, 10th house lord Sun is sitting in 4th house/Aquarius and 4th house lord Saturn is sitting in 10th house/Leo. Please check the link quoted here to know the results of Parivartan Yoga.
Vipreet Raj Yoga (https://www.astrosaxena.com/fbpostsaug1) – Then VRY happens when lords of 6th house/8th house/12th house are sitting in each other’s houses. There are other types of VRY too but this is the most simplest way to understand. For example – For a Scorpio ascendant chart, 6th house lord Mars is sitting in 12th house/Libra or 8th house/Gemini lord Mercury in 6th house/Aries. Please check the link quoted here to know the results of Vipreet Raj Yoga.
Maha Yogas – Maha Yogas happen when there is a mutual exchange between lords of auspicious houses; i.e. 2nd house, Kendra Houses, Trikon Houses and 11th house. For example – For a Leo ascendant chart, 2nd house lord Mercury and 10th house lord Venus are exchanging houses/signs with each other. We can see that this will be an auspicious yoga as all auspicious house lords are involved.
Khala Yoga - Khala Yogas happen when there is a mutual exchange between lord of 3rd house with lords of auspicious houses; i.e. 2nd house, Kendra Houses, Trikon Houses, 11th house. For example – For a Taurus ascendant chart, 2nd house lord Mercury and 3rd house lord Moon are exchanging houses/signs with each other. As 3rd house is house of efforts and hard work, results of the house/sign/planet 3rd house lord is exchanging sign with, will be experienced after immense hard work and efforts.
Dainya Yoga – Then comes the Dainya Yoga where lords of 6th house/8th house/12th house are exchanging signs between themselves or with lords of any other house in chart. So, we can say Dainya Yoga includes within itself a combination of Vipreet Raj Yoga and Parivartan Yoga with only one condition that lords of Trik Bhavas should be involved in the exchange.
Obvious result will be that the results of houses/signs/planets involved in Dainya Yogas will be experienced after lots of obstacles (if 6th lord is involved)/sudden events (if 8th lord is involved) or after losses/expenses (if 12th lord is involved).
Hope this helps. Thanks,
